The NRG theatre co. is a professional touring theatre company established in 1997 by ex-“Brookside” actor; Andrew Fillis. We use our experience and expertise from
various performances across the country to create unique Entertaining Events.
We use fully trained, professional performers, with TV and theatrical credits,
and it shows.
The Unusual Suspects
Not your average, run-of-the-mill murder evening! A murder has been committed…but who did it? Each table is a team. They have to: View the crime scene, solve the puzzles, interrogate the suspects, and sort the clues from the red herrings! To establish three things: who did it, why and how? Our whodunits are completely interactive. The characters mingle and talk freely with the guests, who in turn can interrogate or ridicule as they see fit. We have a wide variety of themes with weird and wonderful characters. We live up to our name; we really are the most Unusual Suspects!

My Big, Fat, Wacky Wedding!
You are cordially invited to attend our wacky wedding with all the trimmings. The guests are allocated a family side, Bride or Groom. Then they will bear witness to a marriage made in hell. The only rule is that if it can go wrong – it will. The guests will meet a whole host of characters from potty photographers to drunken uncles. Dark secrets are revealed, all before the cutting of the cake! The only question is if the Bride and Groom can survive the wedding, will they stay together?
Crazy Casino Night
Welcome to our Casino Night. Play all the classic casino games like Roulette, Craps, Black Jack, Poker and Top Trumps! Trying to be very ‘Las Vegas’ but more like Whitley Bay. The guests won’t be able to keep a poker face with our larger than life croupiers. No real money exchanges hands as the guests take part in a variety of games. The host for the evening is Tony Bennett wannabe ‘Joey Bellini’, a legend in his own lunchtime. He will croon away whiles the guests play. The evening is rounded off with a traditional game of Las Vegas Bingo!
Quiz Show Night
An entertaining quiz night with a game show feel. Our Quiz Masters are like ‘Vic & Bob’ or ‘Ant & Dec’. A variety of interactive rounds of games, puzzles and questions. Featuring variations on classic TV game shows. Watch as the hosts re-enact moments from films, sing tunes or mime then answer the questions that follow. The pub-quiz will never be the same.
